'I have never expected to hear a coxcomb ask two hundred guineas for flinging a pot of paint in the public's face.’ – John Ruskin (1877, Fors Clavigera)

A Pot of Paint in the Public’s Face at Cambridge Artworks showcases an eclectic range of sculpture, installation, painting, drawing and digital media. Presented by the BA Fine Art first year students at Anglia Ruskin University, this exhibition shows a well-developed range of mature concepts and themes, with a thoughtful critique that engages with our current social / political climate, modernity as well as taboos. Formed, constructed, or crafted, the work shows a personal exploration which provides a poignant glimpse into the emotional life of these artists. Presenting a unique spectrum of techniques, methodologies and philosophies, this exhibition deserves your attention. All welcome.

The private view is open to the public on: Tuesday, 14th March, from 5.00 – 7.00pm.

The exhibition will continue until Thursday, 16th March and will be open on Wednesday and Thursday, 10.00am – 6.00pm
