Join us for a screening of the film Music Box (1989), directed by Costa-Gavras.
Music Box (1989) concerns Mike Laszlo, a Hungarian who has been a US citizen for over forty years. When the release of some Russian records leads to him being accused of having been a war criminal, he asks his lawyer daughter Ann (played by Oscar-nominated Jessica Lange) to defend him. Costa-Gavras, born in Greece but resident in France, specialised in making political thrillers such as Z (1969), The Confession (1970), State of Siege (1972), and Missing (1982).
