Future Karaoke #3: The Cambridge Book of Magic

A live literary reading jam, featuring Cambridge-based writers reading new work based on spells from The Cambridge Book of Magic.

Future Karaoke is a literary event series, organised by the School of Creative Industries in partnership with Sidekick Books and Cambridge Festival. It features a roster of writers, supported by other writers through an online link, debuting new work on a set theme. The theme for this third event is 'The Cambridge Book of Magic'; new pieces will use the titles of spells and recipes from this 16th century book of necromancy as titles, epigraphs and jumping-off points.
