'Seeing Myself' in conversation with Jasmine Brady
Events — Talk LAB 109, ARU Cambridge, CB1 1PT23 March 2023, 12:30
The AHSS 'Seeing Myself' events are part of the wider Faculty EDI activity, and are events with role model guest talks by ARU Alumni and staff.
When work carries an emotional burden, how do you go about finding support? Thinking about the importance of networks of solidarity, Jasmine will be speaking about building inclusive working cultures, developing a healthier relationship to work, and balancing creative practice after graduation.
Speaker bio:
Jasmine is MA Books Arts alumnus and currently works at the Fitzwilliam Museum, leading the Visitor Experience team and chairing the Change Makers Action Group. They work occasionally as a freelance artist and spend their free time at the Ice Arena or making music.
Refreshments provided after the talk - all staff and students welcome.
