Making AI Work for Writers

20 February 2024, 10:30

AI is a fast-moving area, but there are several key areas where writers can build foundational knowledge that will aid them as the technology develops. This workshop will make use of simple exercises with existing AI tools in order to explore AI's potential roles as creative prompter, co-creator and analyst. Limited places available.

This is the second of a series of events from ARU’s AI Collaborations: a positive approach to the use of generative artificial intelligence in higher education. The lecture will be given by Linda Clark, a Lecturer in Creative Writing (Interdisciplinary Futures) at the University of Edinburgh, novelist, writer of short stories and creator of interactive works.
