Festival of Performance - Phlebotomist
Events — Live Streamed Performance Present Showcase Website3 June 2021, 17:00
“Written by Ella Road, The Phlebotomist is a play set in a dystopian future that is actually not so far away from us. With just one single blood test, each individual receives a rating on a scale of 1-10, based on aspects such as your IQ, personal health and family medical history. Not only does your rating have an effect on your job and university applications, but also your personal life.
A world where health, wealth and happiness depends on a single blood test. How far would you go to beat the system?”
