Screening and discussion of the film "The Fifth Seal", directed by Zoltán Fábri (1976)

This intense small-scale film, by the major Hungarian director Zoltán Fábri, is set in the Autumn of 1944 after the Fascist Arrow Cross have seized power in Hungary but before the Red Army has captured Budapest. Four men meet in a bar to drink and discuss difficult moral problems but are soon forced to make such difficult choices in their own lives.
