 The Future:Now ⏭

The time ahead is imminent, directly and without hestitation, with the present inevitably becoming the past; as we strive to navigate the future.

15 UK and Internationally based artists from Cambridge School of Art have emerged from the Covid-19 Pandemic lockdown and restrictions, to assemble their MA Fine Art and MA Printmaking Degree Show. It celebrates the culmination of one or two years of exploration and study in the form of new and exciting works that reflect these emerging artists’ capacity to overcome substantial difficulties.

Each artist’s practice has developed from their own unique viewpoints, creating dialogues around introspection, social commentary and alliances through collaboration, which all exist in their own temporal worlds, giving the audience a glimpse into the future - now.

The exhibition is being hosted in the Ruskin Gallery, studios and various locations within the Cambridge School of Art at Anglia Ruskin University, and includes artworks using painting, sculpture, drawing, print, moving image, sound, and ceramics.

The exhibition runs from 3 - 9 September 2021.

Opening times are: 10am to 4pm, pre booking on Eventbrite required.
