Mark Galvin

Mark is passionate about using social media interaction as a tool to develop shorter fiction into longer works, making the world of creative writing more inclusive and accessible in the process. His PhD research is based on this central idea. Under his penname he was instrumental in creating a global flash fiction community. He is also the founder and creator of a pioneering Twitter writing prompt which has achieved millions of global impressions per day. He has won numerous short fiction competitions, been published in online magazines and anthologies, and was selected as an inaugural British Fantasy Society Emerging Horizons author.
