Fenspeak

Cambridge Writing Centre —
19 June 2024, 19:00

Fen Speak is Ely's long-running regular poetry, spoken word and storytelling open mic night where local writers come together to share their work in a friendly environment.

This month there is a guest slot from Julie Stevens. Julie writes poems  that cover many themes, but often engages with the problems of  disability. She is widely published in places such as Ink Sweat & Tears, Broken Sleep Books, The Honest Ulsterman, Strix and Indigo Dreams  Publishing. She has four published pamphlets, most recently Journey Through the Fire (2024).

Sign up for the open mic on the night, or just come along and enjoy the evening.  Free entry, all welcome.  Cash bar.

Wednesday 19th June, Babylon Gallery, Ely, CB7 4AU. Doors open 7.00PM for 7.30PM start.
