Francesca Barosi

With the pandemic meaning live performances couldn’t happen, Francesca Barosi - BA (Hons) Performing Arts – took to the medium of video to express her growth as both artist and individual. A modern and dynamic dancer, her film explores how different feelings and emotions interact with different natural environments, at that moment.

Francesca experienced this in two ways: first, by endeavouring to externalise her feelings authentically; second, by paying attention to the creative stimuli that nature conveyed. Her work has been inspired by German choreographer Pina Bausch, who based her teaching approach of dance on emotions and state of mood of dancers.
