This exhibition presents new work by artists from the MA Fine Art course at Cambridge School of Art, Anglia Ruskin University, each deeply inspired by the intricate world of the David Parr House.
As part of a module focused on curatorial and site-responsive practices, these ten artists explored how one historic home can act as a catalyst for contemporary interpretation, expression, and re-imagining. Ranging across media including performance, sculpture, painting, and embroidery the exhibited works reveal layered responses to the house’s textures, colours, and stories, celebrating the interlacing of history, craft, and contemporary art.
The exhibition runs from 4 December to 9 December, open 10am - 4pm. Please note - the exhibition is closed Sunday, 8 December.
Free entrance to the exhibition in the Visitor Centre; separate payment to enter the David Parr House.
