Black and white illustration of plant

Untitled test print 1: A test screenprint I made to test the fusion between anatomy and poisonous plants. Print size A4.

Illustrator/Printmaker (He/Him) based in the UK with a deep love for the printmaking process, from screen printing to etching. My passion for learning and teaching different print methods is a reflection of my appreciation for the art form and my desire to share it with the next generation.

The Morbid Rebirth

Growth after death. Instead of our bodies rotting and decaying after death, what would happen if the earth used the nutrients in the body to sprout and grow? The prints invite a sense of curiosity with their slightly off-putting imagery inspired by 17th to 18th-century human anatomy accompanied by poisonous plants. The prints are not apparent at first; I want the viewer to break down what they see and slowly realize what body parts are in the print.
