Drawing Straws: Preserving Traditional Crafts Through Illustration

Traditional crafts are becoming extinct in the UK. Drawing Straws aims to increase awareness of straw plaiting whilst creating more visual depictions of the historical makers whose skills are becoming forgotten.

Akin to this, Drawing Straws also explores the reasons why we need to preserve the history of makers and how it connects to our inherent need to pass on what we know and love to a future generation.
