Six photos of booklet with images and text inspired by Waiting for Godot

This project reinterprets Samuel Beckett's ‘Waiting for Godot’ by transforming its existential and absurdist themes into a contemporary visual narrative.

I am a visual artist specialising in narrative creation, exploring human emotions and existential experiences through cross-media forms. My work challenges traditional storytelling by intertwining time, space, and text to create complex, layered narratives.

In addition to my artistic projects, I design brochures and posters for theatrical productions, combining narrative depth with visual communication. My goal is to discover new forms of expression in contemporary visual culture, pushing the boundaries of how stories are told. By engaging with multi-dimensional storytelling and design, I aim to evoke meaningful reflection and contribute to the future of narrative art.

Looping Joy

This project explores the emotional bond between humans and animals, focusing on cat and dog interactions through visual media like flipbooks and GIFs. It reveals how simple pet behaviors can evoke relaxation, joy, and healing, countering the stress and alienation of modern urban life. By highlighting the innocence of animals, the project seeks to reconnect people with natural pleasures, offering a therapeutic and entertaining escape from today’s fast-paced world.

The story is based on the traditional Chinese nursery rhyme ‘Once Upon a Time’, and uses letter print and images to construct a three-meter-long scroll of circular stories. This is part of the image.
