Hey, I’m Karina! I am a film editor from Hong Kong with a solid foundation in narrative storytelling, ranging from drama and documentary to music videos and trailers. During my time studying Film Production at Anglia Ruskin University, I have cultivated a distinctive editorial voice while remaining adaptable to the variety of genres and formats that I have worked with.
Alongside this, I have explored the UK’s independent film community. My experience includes an internship at the Cambridge Film Festival, volunteering for the Royal Television Society, and I am currently Head of Video Production at Watersprite Film Festival — the largest student film festival in the world. Other roles include editing a commissioned short film for the Imperial War Museum, as well as the videography and editing of branded content for a multitude of brands across Hong Kong and the UK.
I plan to build my career in editing and post-production following graduation. With a strong dedication to craft and collaboration, I want to continue to refine my skills while making meaningful a contribution to the film and television industry.
I have collated a multitude of projects that I have worked on over the last few years. This ranges from the work I have done for university, as well as projects I have done alongside my studies. Each of them represents something vital that pushed my editing skills further. It is a collection that represents my passion for editing and filmmaking as well as showcases projects that helped me find my voice.
