Tickets from Tickets to Connection

I am a digital creative with a background in digital art and graphic design. I love learning new things an I am always curious to explore and experiment.

Before the pandemic I couldn’t see myself working in the creative industries, but after joining an online global art community I found my passion for using art and games to help people connect and be creative, whilst encouraging engagement with art.

My interests have led me to be involved in projects at The Fitzwilliam Museum, encouraging young people to get involved with the museum for the Botticelli in Cambridge exhibition and helping create a wellbeing experience for the Happy Place project. I’m am continuing to explore this passion and now infuse it into my own work, experimenting with the ways art can be utilised in a social setting.


Tickets to Connection is a project designed to help people connect over distances through art. Inspired by my personal experience being in a long-distance relationship and the struggle of finding things to do together, Tickets to Connection provides short creative activities that provoke communication and connection to help you stay connected to loved ones no matter how far apart you are.

The project consists of a set of Tickets featuring art prompts and communication points alongside a supporting app and website to host the Tickets digitally. Users complete prompts to create physical pieces of art and follow it up by responding to the communication points to start conversation about what they have made and themselves. The digital platforms add to the gamification by letting users track completed tickets and earn badges.

The website and app were created using Axure RP whilst the branding, Tickets and product mock-ups were created using a mix of Affinity Publisher, Affinity Designer and Adobe Photoshop.
