My tech journey began with a controller in hand and evolved into a passion that led me to become a Computer Games Tech specialist with expertise in both Unreal Engine and Unity.
C# is my preferred programming language, a natural outcome of my specialisation in Unity development.
When I'm not developing games, I'm exploring virtual worlds as a player, drawing inspiration for my projects. Music and books provide balance to my tech-focused mind, offering fresh perspectives I incorporate into my work. Through my YouTube and Twitch channels, I share my gaming passion with a growing community, creating spaces where fellow enthusiasts can connect.
The artefact is a toon/cel shader system implemented in Unity using the Shader Graph within URP. It incorporates multiple rendering techniques, including customisable light banding, rim lightning, edge detection for outlines, and a custom bloom post-processing effect inspired by Hi-Fi Rush. The shader system includes custom render passes that enhance edge detection and colour separation for low-poly models, enhancing their geometric qualities while providing artistic stylisation. It features artist-friendly controls for adjusting colour thresholds, outline thickness, rim light intensity, and bloom parameters, supporting visual styles ranging from the vibrant Hi-Fi Rush to the comic book-inspired look of Borderlands.
