I am a passionate and technical drummer. Over the years, I have worked with numerous artists, both live and in the studio. My current band 'rosary.' has been streamed over 100,000 times on Spotify alone in little over a year. This has helped the band see Radio success with Radio 1, sold-out shows and nationwide tours. With 'rosary.' I have played venues such as Three Wise Monkeys in Colchester, The Six Six in Cambridge, and New Cross Inn in London. Our next EP is set to be released at the end of the year.
I am also the drummer of another band called Stacy's Dad, a fast-paced, energetic pop-punk cover band. Stacy's Dad have played various live shows across East Midlands and Suffolk. Our live set consists of everyone's favourite nostalgic 2000s hits from bands such as blink-182, Sum 41 and Green Day.
I have also been featured in other artists' work around Colchester and Cambridge, filling in whenever needed, and in local newspapers and on local radio, talking about the impact Noise Solution (a music organisation dedicated to helping at-risk youth) had on my life and the impact music can have on people’s overall wellbeing.
For the main project of my portfolio, I chose to perform a 20-minute 7-song set consisting of original songs with my band ‘rosary.’. The band's genre is a mix of pop-punk and emo. The reason behind performing a live session was to showcase my skills as a drummer and live musician. The set consists of five already released songs, and two newly written unreleased songs.
