I’m a UK-based animator and illustrator with a soft spot for fictional characters and motion design! My art is an amalgamation of things that I love most: action and visual storytelling, which are fuelled by my fervid interest in comics and animated films/shows, such as X-Men 97, Batman, Dylan Dog, etc.
I also like to integrate traditional textures in my works, most prominently featured in my most recent endeavour: Paper Guide.
Paper Guide is a thriller/ mystery genre graphic novel from my final major project: Detective Reina must partner with an incarcerated serial killer, Luce, to track down and expose the identity of the copy-cat murderer that has been terrorising the city of Saint Moral during Luce’s absence in prison.
They're reluctant to join forces at first, but along the way these two unlikely partners start to understand each other's perspectives and reasons. It has themes of political corruption and blurred morals – challenging Detective Reina's faith in her superiors.
This project stemmed from my love of comics, specifically Batman, where his stubborn and sometimes tinted perspective is challenged by the people he meets.
