I’m an Artist from France studying to be an illustrator and animator.
As an artist I have always been intrigued by the way dreams have been illustrated and perceived in modern day media. The concept of dreaming and the escapism they provide is a comfort I want to further explore and illustrate. The protagonist reflects young adults who struggle with growing up after the pandemic, feeling like they lost important years of their youth.
The story of Between Worlds follows the protagonist Elkie, a young girl who wakes up in a strange dream that allows her to visit and explore imaginative worlds by jumping through a portal. But the dream soon turns into a nightmare as she tries to outrun a monster she created.
