I’m Zuzanna and my passion for fashion started with upcycling — cutting, sewing, and reinventing second-hand clothes into something fresh and personal. That hands-on creativity led me to pursue a degree in fashion design, where I spent the past three years developing my style and refining my craft.
During my time at Anglia Ruskin, I discovered a deep connection to streetwear, especially the bold aesthetics of hip hop fashion. The oversized silhouettes, layered looks, and fearless attitude of hip hop culture continue to inspire my designs today. I’m especially drawn to denim as a medium—its texture, history, and flexibility make it perfect for experimentation and reinvention.
My work blends sustainability with urban expression. I love pushing the boundaries of what "everyday" clothes can be — whether it’s deconstructing vintage jeans or remixing classic streetwear pieces with unexpected details.
Fashion, for me, is about transformation — of materials, of identity, and of self-expression. I’m excited to keep exploring that through my designs and continue building a voice rooted in authenticity, culture, and creativity.
Submerge is a collection that dives into childhood memories of the sea — back when the ocean felt calm, magical, and full of endless possibilities.
It started with daydreams about living underwater, and evolved into something deeper as I started thinking about rising sea levels, pollution, and how our relationship with the ocean is changing.
The looks play with that balance between fantasy and reality. I used denim in unexpected ways—layered, sculpted, and softened to mimic waves, coral, and the way light moves underwater. There’s a mix of influences here: vintage 1920s shapes, early 2000s streetwear, and a bit of surrealist energy to give it that dreamlike feel.
Some pieces are oversized and protective, like armour against a shifting world. Others are more fluid and experimental, wrapping around the body like sea forms. The lines and panels running through the designs represent movement, change, and adaptation— almost like you’re watching someone evolve to live in a new environment.
Submerge is about transformation — blending nostalgia, emotion, and a look toward the future, all wrapped up in a world beneath the surface.
