A still from my animated film featuring Faith eating with her imaginary friends.

Hi there! My name is Amy Lever, and I am an Animator and Illustrator based in Essex! My work is often influenced by the fantasy genre, but I still love to experiment and explore other styles when I can. My practice centres on character animation and development, narrative development and visual storytelling.

I have previously completed an A-Level course in Media Studies which has taught me much about different audiences and how to market towards them – something I hope to learn much more about in the near future.

My film is about a young protagonist named Faith. She struggles with a difficult home life with her parents always fighting. She often escapes into her own mind where she creates various imaginary worlds to have fun and make friends in. Some of these worlds consist of towns filled with… animal villagers? Or an intense battle against invading robots full of drama. However, when reality starts to seep into Faith’s imagination, she finds herself falling back into the harsh depths of reality.
