Breathe Poster - Typographic poster encouraging calmness, reflection, and emotional reassurance

I am a Graphic Design student at Anglia Ruskin University with a passion for creating meaningful visual experiences through design, illustration, and storytelling. My work often explores emotional connection, self-expression, and community, especially within experiences of young people living away from home. I enjoy combining typography, branding, and digital media to create projects that feel both visually engaging and emotionally relatable. Alongside graphic design, I also work with video editing and content creation, with an interest in building creative communities and using design to make people feel seen, supported, and understood.

My final project explores emotional wellbeing, mindfulness, and the importance of community for people living away from home and experiencing mental health struggles. Inspired by personal experiences and conversations within the Asian community, the project aims to create comforting and relatable visual communication that encourages self-love, reassurance, and emotional connection.

The outcomes include Breathe, a typographic poster promoting calmness and reflection, and a Self-Love Card Deck designed with affirmations and supportive messages. Through expressive typography, illustration, and affirmation-based design, the project focuses on creating everyday moments of positivity, self-acceptance, and emotional support.
