A self-initiated editorial project in response to an article from Breathe Magazine (can be seen alongside the text on my website).

Hi! I’m Millie and I’m an illustrator based in Saffron Walden, near Cambridge.

My work is influenced by my enjoyment of drawing the natural world. I love to work with gouache and coloured pencil. I enjoy working within editorial and book illustration, and most recently within pattern design. The consideration of colour and composition in a piece drives me, as well as producing the final artwork.

My final major project was a chance for me to incorporate briefs that responded to places I’ve visited and explored.
