Hello, I’m Yuxiao Wang, or you can call me Selina. I’m a Chinese animator and illustrator. I love doing animations and video editing. I really enjoy all kinds of indie games and hope I can work in Indie game industry after I graduate from Uni.

Silence of Nirvana is a dark animated short that follows a young man who accidentally enters a remote cult village while searching for his missing younger brother. After discovering the village’s cruel and sinister practices, he decides to fight back. However, when he believes he has finally defeated the village chief, he is forced to face a devastating truth: the source of the tragedy was his own brother all along.

The work explores a suffocating atmosphere of evil, regret, and irreversible loss. Its title, Silence of Nirvana, reflects the ending, where resistance, hope, and grief are all absorbed into silence. Although the protagonist appears to have survived, he loses the original purpose that drove him forward: finding his brother. In despair, he chooses to become the new village chief, allowing the cycle of darkness to continue.
