A-Frayed Photoshoot

I have always had a strong passion for costume, particularly period and fantasy films. In my most recent project, I wanted to create a theatrical collection that best represented my interests and creative style. I combined my love for films and historical silhouettes to develop my collection ‘A-Frayed’. Having studied for three years, I have developed a wide range of creative and technical skills have prepared me for the future.

The Spring / Summer 26/27 collection A-Frayed explores the haunting presence of ghosts. Taking inspiration from the ghostly figures in ‘Dark Shadows’ and ‘Crimson Peak,’ whilst looking at the Victorian era silhouettes. Using frayed silks, tulle and chiffon in black, white and hues of blue to imply a disappearing, deteriorating, and decaying ghost.
