Silent Love is a picture book series inspired by my childhood trivial moments with my mother, capturing tender and simple fragments of daily life.
It adopts minimalist monochrome backgrounds contrasted with colourful characters to create distinct visual tension. With restrained visual narration, the work focuses on family bonds and parent child relationships, portraying quiet, unspoken maternal love.
Through unique colour contrast, it evokes viewers’ empathy, encouraging reflection on personal growth and family memories. This series explores intimate interpersonal connections within families, revealing the profound emotions hidden in silence and presenting the subtle, understated love that deserves to be perceived and understood.
